The Supremes Ain't no Mountain High Enough Letras:(Oh, oh, oh-oh.)
(Oh, oh, oh-oh.)
(Oh, oh, oh-oh.)
(Oooo-wooo-ooo-oo,)
(Wooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo.)
[Diana spoken:]
If you need me, call me.
No matter where you are,
No matter how afar.
Just call my name,
I'll be there in a hurry,
On that you can depend,
And never worry.
[Sung:]
(No wind), no wind,
(No rain), no rain,
Or winter's cold,
(Can stop me, baby.)
Oh, baby, (baby), baby,
(If you're not gone.)
Oh, (no wind), no wind,
(No rain), no rain,
(Can stop me, baby.)
If you are not gone.
Oh, oh, oh-oh.
Oh, ooo-oo, oh-oh.
Oh, oh, oh-oh.
Oooo-wooo-ooo-oo,
Wooo-oo-oo.
[Diana spoken:]
I know, I know you must follow the sun wherever it leads. But remember, if you should fall short of your desires, remember life holds for you one guarantee -- you'll always have me. And if you should miss my lovin' one of these old days... If you should ever miss the arms that used to hold you so close, or the lips that used to touch yours so tenderly, just remember what I told you the day I set you free:
[Sung:]
(Ain't no mountain high enough.)
Ah-ha-ah.
(Ain't no valley low enough.)
Oo-oo-oo-oo.
(Ain't no river wide enough.)
Ah-ho.
(To keep me from you.)
(Ain't no mountain high enough.)
Ow.
(Ain't no valley low enough.)
Say it again.
(Ain't no river wide enough.)
Hey.
(To keep me from you.)
Ain't no mountain high enough.

[Short instrumental break.]
(Ain't no mountain high enough.)
Oh-ho.
(Ain't no valley low enough.)
Say it again.
(Ain't no river wide enough.)
Again and again.
(To keep me from you.)
(Oo-oo.)
Ain't no mountain high enough.
(Ain't no mountain high enough.)
(Ain't no valley low enough.)
Nothin' can keep me,
(Aint no river wide enough.)
Keep me from you.
(To keep me from you.)
(Oh, oh, oh-oh.)
Nothing in this world,
Nothing in this world,
(Oh, oh, oh-oh.)
Can keep me from you, babe.
(Oh, oh, oh-oh.)
Just call my name,
[Fade.]
I'll be there any day.
(Oh, oh, oh-oh.)
Just call my name...

[1] When The Supremes made their Motown debut in 1961, they were Diana Ross,
Mary Wilson & Florence Ballard. In mid-1967 Ballard left the group and was
replaced by Cindy Birdsong, after which they were billed as Diana Ross &
the Supremes. Ross left the group toward the end of 1969 (with the
execption of one show in Las Vegas in January 1970), to pursue a solo
career. She was replaced by Jean Terrell and the three of them recorded
under the name, The Supremes, until 1977 with a few personnel changes along
the way. Only Mary Wilson stayed with the group from beginning to the end.
