1 "He's Sure the Boy I Love," in actuality was also
recorded by Darlene Love and The Blossoms, but credited
to the Crystals. It reached #11 on the Billboard chart,
and features a classic spoken intro by Love. It isn't
clear why Phil Spector was doing this (He's a Rebel was
also recorded by Love & the Blossoms - see notes on
that song's lyrics), other than he didn't think Barbara
Alston's voice was strong enough. Still, it didn't make
much sense to credit the Crystals and not the Blossoms.
The song reached #11 on the Billboard 100.

2 Starting out as a quintet, then a quartet and
ultimatly winding up as a trio, the following is a list
of each girl's tenure with the group:

Delores "Dee Dee" Kennibrew (1960-1966, 1971-present)
