Editor's note: I love that the whole song is a double entendre. Yes, he's
talking about a car (the limosine), but how easy is it to think he's
talking about a girl? And, c'mon now, doesn't Berry want us to think that?
It makes me wonder how it was able to get air play back in the mid 60s.
Even if Berry's version wasn't played in the US (The album was made in
London), The Blues Project covered it in '65 and it got US air time. Hard
to believe for something this potentially scandalous! I mean, heck, Dick
Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore were still sleeping in separate beds on the
Dick Van Dyke Show! (1961-1966)
