1 "Here I Am" peaked at #5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart in
November of 1981, and remained in the Top 40 for 15 weeks. The song also
spent three weeks atop the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart. To prevent
confusion, the song was renamed "Here I Am", because originally, it was
called, "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)," but the group
thought it might be confused with their hit song, "The One That You Love,"
that contains the lyrics: "Here I am, the one that you love." 8

6 Rick Derringer (born Richard Zehringer, August 5, 1947) is a guitaris,
vocalist, entertainer and rock icon having performed such bands as The Rick
Z Combo, Rick & the Ravens. The McCoys, Johnny Winter And..., White
Trash, (also led by Edgar Winter) The Edgar Winter Group, Steely Dan
and Alice Cooper.

7 At the time of the recording, Weinberg was a member of Bruce
Springsteen's E-Street Band, who subsequently became leader of the
house-band for The Tonight with Conan O'Brien (1993-2009). The group
previously played under the name The Max Weinberg 7 when it was the
house-band for Late Night with Conan O'Brien (2009 and ongoing).
